Gauze swabs (ISO 14079), made from 100% hydrophilic cotton of 17threads/cm2, 5cmx5cm, 16 plies, packed in packs of 1 unit. They are latex and phthalate free and can be with folded edges (American fold – AM) or unfolded edges (french fold – regular). The swabs should never be unfolded during use. The device is intended to be used only once in non-surgical procedures for compression or absorption of exudates in minor wounds and burns, chronic wounds or other types of wounds with damaged skin. These swabs are produced in accordance with European requirements and are subjected to a steam sterilisation process at 134°C for 5 minutes. In accordance with Regulation 2017/745 (EU), this medical device is classified as class I sterile and is exempt from instructions for use. The product's biocompatibility is guaranteed by tests carried out in accordance with ISO 10993 and it is packed in mixed PA/PP and paper packaging.
